Out of the depths of his criminal insanity and minimal insecurity, Robyn was becoming ever more suspicious of his own charms. He has been with us for decades, but still feeling ill at ease, had decided to depart his host. Outside, the palms towered over him as though they held the vaguely erotic command of a zaftig wench. Why had he felt so compelled to overstay his welcome in the presence of such royalty? His chance had finally come, but instead of fulfillment, the unspoken promise of eternal calm had zigzagged in and out of his grasp like a double headed horse fly. Robyn's head spun with pungent and sulfur indifference. Robyn's stride was rhythmic and meditative, his mind and body linked in open gait by the hypnotic sound of dried grasses crumbling beneath his toes. He imagined the sound of a billion charred skulls dutifully crushed by the grotesque and hideous paws of an intoxicated basilisk. As darkness fell, all that was recognizable begin to fade into the distance beneath the monolithic sea of steel caps, wires, and vines, which made up the lavender scented border of the abandoned harbor. The electrolyte deficient ache of concrete swells seemed to stand in erect salute to an imaginary midnight orchestra of dung beetles who once strummed the power lines in the key of B flat. "Hey kids, go(and buy) the new Soft Boys album. It rocks like a beast!"
