Free Music Review: Much Like the Movie Itself...

I can't tell you how many times I've told people that I love the movie Solaris (the Clooney re-make, not the Russian original) only to get that odd stare and perhaps the revealing "Oh,
really?" response.
The music is haunting, and I found myself putting the cd into the player and going to the menu just to have it as background. Now, I've ordered the soundtrack. I can't tell you why I think the music is so deeply poignant. Others here have written far more eloquently than I have.
It would be interesting to determine the percentage of people who liked or loved the movie who also feel the same way about the soundtrack, and vice-versa. The music, somehow, is connected to what happens in the movie, tied to it, linked to the characters, space, and Solaris itself.
A most remarkable musical accomplishment.
