You can see the characters in the music. So few movies have ever contained music that evoked such rememberance than this film.This is truly a romantic album. The sound track of this film has been in my mind since I first watched the movie several months ago. The CD goes everywhere with me in the car and somehow all the other CD's I have now pale in comparison. I cannot get the music out of my mind and every time I listen to it, I can relive the scenes from this wonderful film whose scenes blend perfectly with the music. The score and the film are the result of a labor of love on the part of John Barry and the cast of "Somewhere In Time" as there was little support for this film which had a very limited budget.Free Music Review: One of the best soundtracks ever

The music fits perfectly with "Somewhere in Time's" story. The music enables viewers to feel the depth of emotions that the characters are feeling. The soundtrack is absolutely gorgeous. The music of "Somewhere in Time" truly stays with you through time. There hasn't been one romantic movie that I've seen to surpass the quality and beauty of both the movie and the soundtrack. Having watched the movie (accidently coming upon it on t.v),I was drawn to the characters, acting, amazing musical score, time period and phenominal acting for Chris Reeves, Jane Seymour, Christopher Plummer. My heart was captured and I was brought to tears of joys and sorrow. It is truly a classic musical piece, writing and acting (not to mention how fabulous the costumes were! This grabbed my heart & will never let go. Kudos to all! Buy the tape, DVD or whatever you have the format for in your home--you shall not regret it!Free Music Review: Gorgeous in every way

Unlike most soundtracks which are loaded with second-rate "filler" material, this score is one of only a handful that's truly gorgeous from beginning to end. It makes a wonderful gift to that someone special.Incidentally, I would wholeheartedly recommend anyone who has never been to Mackinac (pronounced MACK-a-naw) Island to see it firsthand. Venture away from the fudge shops to see why Mackinac Island is one of the more popular romantic getaway destinations. It's a truly memorable experience.
