A beautiful and haunting soundtrack is what this is. A great companion to the movie, John Barry composed another masterpiece for the years. Every piece on the soundtrack is different yet it intertwines with each other. The piano compliments the orchestra and the result is wonderfully emotional. This soundtrack is reflective, compassionate and moving, yet it has no words, but words are not necessary. No matter how many times I watch Somewhere in Time I am so deeply moved by John Barry's emotional score, it's almost beyond description. It takes just a few notes from the love theme to bring tears to my eyes and a warmth of remembrance of the love that was portayed between Richard and Elise-the eternal love that they shared. Music of this depth is rare and wonderful, and I highly recommend this score to anyone who is touched by love's beauty.Free Music Review: irreplaceable

These songs are the best, I was not born yet when the film frist came out. But once I watched this movie, I started loving every single part of it. The soundtrack is excellent. Nothing could be compared with this beautiful melody at the present time. The music is classical and beautiful,it is also modern in a sense, such a nice piece of work that could really last for century, it has a very strong feeling in it. You will love it.

The music created by John Barry is just beautiful, it not only captures the very essence of the film, but it can still be appreciated if you've never seen it. It's haunting and romantic, filled with emotion and feelings; the kind of rare music that can bring you up in goosebumps when you listen to it. John Barry is definitely one of the most talented composers alive. He also composed James Bond, Born Free, Out of Africa, and many more soundtracks. Somewhere In Time is his best work in my opinion. Like the movie, it didn't get the attention it deserves in the initial release. As time goes by, people began to discover what a hauntingly beautiful music it is. Now it's loved by people of all ages. I highly recommand it.
