I'm not a fan of the television show, but this compilation looked promising (I'm also a big fan of Chantal Kreviazuk), so I picked it up. This is a nice compilation of tunes that are easy to listen to and could even be described as a little retro as the tracks are mellower than a lot of the other music that's popular right now. Special highlights include Chantal Kreviazuk's "Feels Like Home," Nikki Hassman's "Any Lucky Penny," and Sozzi's "Letting Go." But the rest of the CD is good as well! I was really amazed at the Dawson's soundtrack. I know some people have complained that some of the music isn't in the show yet, but it's all coming very soon. After hearing the CD, I was totally waiting to see how they used "Ready For A Fall" by P.J. Olsson. It's a very intimate song and was very special in the closing scenes tonight. I was so into his music, I actually got his whole CD which is on the way. While the soundtrack does have a lot of new newcomers, most of them are really outstanding if you listen.Free Music Review: Should be in anyone's collection

Although most of the songs there are not formally released, it's got a great collection. I listen to it almost every night and it's great "easy listening" music. You need not be a Dawson's Creek fan to appreciate the songs there. All you have to be is appreciative of "good music". Favorites are "I Don't Wanna Wait", "Kiss Me", "Lose Your Way", "Ready for a Fall", "Any Lucky Penny", "Feels Like Home"...wait...did I just list almost all the songs?Free Music Review: Great Soundtrack

As I'm from Europe I find it very hard to get any CD of the singers featured on this Soundtrack and that's why I bought the CD. I think that this record is fantastic. While watching the series you don't usually pay attention to the music, but once you got the record - you'll hear the songs. I think the compilation of the songs is great, a little something of everything. Especially the song "I don't wanna wait" from Paula Cole is admireable. I recommend everybody to buy this CD! Again, last night I heard the song "ONCE AGAIN" over the wedding scene with Dawson and his mother talking and I just love it...This is a good CD but songs like this should be on the next one. The artist is MICHAEL BRANDMEIER. I looked it up the first time I heard it last spring, got his CD online and if you like GREAT songs with thought provoking hooks, you got to hear this! I like DAWSONS, but as a fan of the show and the music, I would love to see some of his tunes make the second CD...Thanks, Nancy W...
