Free Music Notes for Songs From The Neighborhood:The Music Of Mister RogersFree Music Review: Everyone needs a little Mr. Rogers in their life! Hit: 5 Stars
I ordered this item for my son-in-law upon the birth of his daughter. Both my son-in-law and my daughter grew up with Mr. Rogers's shows and LOVED him. I paired this item up with a zip up sweater in honor of Mr. Rogers.....I think my granddaughter will like her new neighborhood!
Free Music Review: I'll never stop loving Mr. Rogers! Hit: 5 Stars
These are some of the best songs Mr. Rogers wrote, performed by other artists. They are happy and cute, like the show itself. What's not to love? If only all music was this positive! If only the world was this positive...we miss you, Mr. Rogers!
Free Music Review: It'd be nice to have... Hit: 5 Stars

This is an amazing cd they did an awesome job on it.
Free Music Review: Not Mr. Rogers...but it grows on you! Hit: 4 Stars
My mom got this CD for my 4 year old son's birthday with my thumbs up. The first time he played it I didn't like it at all. Even though I KNEW it wasn't "Mr. Rogers" singing the songs on the CD, I thought they would at least sound similar, but most of them really don't. Think more along the lines of, uhm, elevator renditions or lounge music. Now though, that we've listened to it about 30 times (apparently my son likes it), it has grown on me. Particularly I like B.J. Thomas' rendition of "It's Such a Good Feeling", John Pizzarelli's "What Do You Do?" and Ricky Scaggs' "Let's Think of Something to Do". I also like the last track "Won't You Be My Neighbor?" by Roberta Flack. Don't expect your preschoolers to just start singing along to this CD on their own, but after you've listened a few times, you will find yourself singing along, and they are still the lyrics we all know and love and very positive messages. I grew up watching Mr. Rogers Neighborhood and this CD has his heart in it. I gave it 4 stars, because we truly enjoy it, but not 5, because it wasn't an "out of the cellophane" hit. Also, unlike alot of children's music that we own, this is good "quiet time" music.
