Free Music Notes for Songs From the MountainFree Music Review: The real "Cold Mountain" soundtrack Hit: 5 Stars
The official "Cold Mountain" movie soundtrack has some good tracks by some fine artists. I've played it 3 or 4 times. It's been put back for now to be played again in the future. "Songs From the Mountain", the pre-movie, book "soundtrack" CD on the other hand, gets played over and over and over... with no tracks skipped.
Free Music Review: Wonderful music Hit: 5 Stars
Wonderful music and extraordinary musicianship. Beautiful harmonies, make-ya-wanna-dance tunes, make-ya-wanna-harmonize along songs. Old songs beautifully rendered in voice and instruments. I have a lot of bluegrass and "traditional/roots" music and this is one of my favorites. Highly recommend
Free Music Review: Received in new condition in a reasonable amount of time. Hit: 5 Stars
This is the greatest CD. I found out about the CD after purchasing the Cold Mountain soundtrack. If you love old time music with a fiddle, claw hammer banjo, some mandolin, you will love this CD. It is one of my favorites, of all the CDs I have. from every genre.....
Free Music Review: Every American should hear this music Hit: 5 Stars
This CD is a far better investment than the soundtrack to Cold Mountain. This is the real McCoy. Hats off to the three amazing artists who crafted this brilliant compilation. The music reaches deep down and touches your soul.
Free Music Review: A really nice mix of Old Time styles Hit: 5 Stars
This cd has a nice mix of sacred and secular. Old Time ballads and newer, almost bluegrass sounding stuff. It is pure Old Time, but it really shows the variety of musical styles found within this genre.
