amazing cd, i've always listened to everything max has done, like sepultura, nailbomb, cavalera conspiracy and soulfly. and i got to say i am loving every second of this album, and i think one of the reasons is some of the songs sound as if they could be on somebodys first album. as if the guys didn't want all kind of other music styles on this album. like off dark ages, innerspirit is a great song, but its brutal in the begining then its something else. where as some songs like paranoia and enemy ghost are straight right through. just like some songs off cavalera conspiracy, wich i sometimes enjoy more than the mix up, but if anybody knows how to mix it up its soulfly.

As a real old fan of Sepultura this record, to me, is Soulfly's best record. As a fan of music I love to see bands grow and that is exactly what they have done. Since Marc Rizzo joined the band the records have become more soulful, intense, and metal. Conquer is not only their best release but their most technical without losing their roots in making the crowd move. I would highly suggest this record to metal heads that love Arise and Dark Ages because of the soulfulness and technicality. You can tell they spent some time on theses songs compared to Cavalera Conspiracy. Just buy it you'll love it.Free Music Review: GREAT-EXCELLENT-PERFECT

I HEARD SOULFLY PLAYING ON YOUTUBE-PRIMITIVE...AND IT SOUNDED ALRIGHT. AFTER I BOUGHT "INFLIKTED-CAVALERA CONSPIRACY" I HEARD THEM PLAY ON HEADBANGERSBALL, TWO WEEKS BEFORE THE ALBUM CAME OUT, AND MAX SOUNDS JUST LIKE SEPULTURA DAYS- I BOUGHT THE ALBUM AND IT IS NO DESSAPOINMENT. I WENT AND BOUGHT EVEN THE "DARK AGES" ALBUM WHICH SOUNDS LIKE "ROOTS BLOODY ROOTS" OR CHAOS A.D. IF YOU LIKE OLD SEPULTURA, YOU'LL DEFINETELY LIKE THIS ONE. Couldn't wait to get this one! Just saw Cavalera Conspiracy in NYC, and was waiting for the end of July for the new Soulfly to come out. Well I wasn't disappointed! Album is great, heavy, melodic, and different. Max does a great job on this.
I picked up the Bonus CD that comes with 2 extra songs and a DVD with a live show. TOTALLY WORTH THE EXTRA 2 bucks.

Hit: 5 Stars Ive been a really big fan of max calavera and his music, when this album was released I got it and it was incredible! Very fast and good guitar solos, especially in paranoia and doom! And how they give it some slow parts in the songs like unleash with the slow part in the middle and the end of doom. This album is very very VERY good and i love it! =)
