Free Music Review: Mentally Retarded Rap
Hit: 1 Stars

Soulja Boy is just another joke in the hip-pop scene. This guy repeats his lyrics and think that's a good song, not to mention that his material is just more dirty south crunk and snap garbage. The lyrics take no thought, even a nursery rhyme has more depth than "Crank Dat". It's just pathetic how this even gets signed. This isn't even rap music, it's pop music in disguise. Expect this to be in the bargain bin in a couple of months.

Free Music Review: Where should I begin?
Hit: 1 Stars

Man, rap has really sank this low. This is one of the reason why I am never going to another damn school dance: When the people flock to the dance floor and get excited for crank that. Not even the girls can draw me into again (that's pretty impressive). Snap music is the majority of the music played at dances. How am I supposed to dance with girls if the music (aside from the fact I am not quite the ladie's man) is undancable? Sorry ladies, can't move to the "music".

This music has nothing to it. It's lifeless. Snap music truly has no soul. Sure, it's a long stretch to compare them to A Tribe Called Quest or 2Pac, but when It's getting hot in here by nelly seems like a breath of fresh air compared to one snap rap song after another (at the dance, no less) you have a problem. Crank that put me in stitches actually. Hard to tell what his future is. I bet it's not going to last very long.

Even if you like crank that, don't even buy this album. The rest of the songs on here are actually worse! soulja girl directly rips off a sample of Linus And Lucy, bapes has got to be the funniest pieces of _____ I've heard, donk is fake @$$ beats, sidekick. Well, this album as a whole is bad. But that's old news, anyway.

Yes, my review is a ______ echo. Yes, I _______ hate this d-bag's music. That's why I am writing this. _______ soulja boy. I just need to get my thoughts down. Believe me, I could rant all day on how souless, boring, and pointless this loser is. I just don't want to spend all day ranting.

Listen to some of the hilarious parodies on the web too, including a hilarious screamo version (I still hate screamo, it's just funny). Also, look for absolutely banal attempts at the dance on the web, as well as people synching the songs with various shows (Barney, Dora the Explorer, Spongebob, South Park, Winnie the Poo).

Free Music Review: Then you wonder why hip hop is dead
Hit: 1 Stars

So yesterday, my neighbor was blasting this album so loud, I literally had to call the cops complaining about the noise, I dont have a problem with people playing loud music, but when its 1A.M and he was playing this trash. I am so sick and tired of snap, crunk and southern rap, face it, crunk is not destined to be a classic genre within rap. This is the snap formula

a. Cheesy beats
b. A dumb phrase
c. a horrible dance

There is a reason I don't bother listening to the radio or watching music videos, its just trendy music that will be forgotten in a month.

How much do I miss NWA, 2pac, Biggie, and old school rap, now I would be ashamed getting caught listening to this.

Free Music Review: Its what I expected based on his first song
Hit: 1 Stars

This guy's impersonation of a rapper is pretty bad, but he has mastered the art of repeating words to the point that it can drive someone crazy. IF you can manage to tune out the nonsense lyrics, the music is actually good. It would work for bumping in the car or maybe in the club. If you are looking lyrical contest past just screaming "Yuuugh!", you've picked the wrong cd.

Free Music Review: Hip Hop is Dead and the undertaker is named Soulja Boy
Hit: 1 Stars

It's a bad cd and that's being nice about it. Most of the songs are old songs redone with lyrics changed. Search around for his other songs and discover worst songs that he could have put on this cd.
There is maybe one or two decent songs on this cd.

He just did what others (Mims, T-Pain, Rich Boy and Bow Wow) have done make a song that gets turned into ring tones, gets played at sporting events and a dance that gets banned at schools. He took the hype and rushed this cd out.

And to those that said Tupac and other rappers from the 90s were worst than Soulja Boy. Sorry most of those guys had messages behind their lyrics. I don't remember Tupac telling girls to smell his behind like Soulja Boy does in a song left off this cd. He didn't encourage beating teachers up for a grade.

Just another cd making real hip hop and rap look bad since the real artists (Common, Lupe, Nas Mos Def and others) can't get their music played since they are bragging about crap.
