Free Music Review: Interesting but inconsistant

As a fan and frequent listener of both studio and multiple live shows, I found this collection of compositions to lack cohesion. Some tracks offered glimpses of the beautiful, layered complexity that STS9 can offer while others came off as unfinished ideas. Sure there's a great demand for STS9 music by fans but fans should be aware that this is a set of primarily solo projects by STS9 members. Its good enough to keep in my rotation, track 20 grabbed me, but I expect it will be bumped by something else sooner rather than later.

From lush ambient textures and downtempo moods to eclectic, playful instrumentals, this album is a glimpse into the diversity of creation that embodies STS9. While some tracks are collaborations, most are the work of a "soul" or lone producer. Though distinctly STS9, listeners will find the band embarking on a new musical exploration.
