Free Music Review: This Album Swept Me off My Feet

Truth be told, this is quite a good record. Nothing new or inventive, and a few songs drag a little in the middle of the disc, but man, tracks 1 thru 4 and basically the last five tracks showcase a band in top songwriting form. I'd compare them to a harder-rocking version of Faber Drive, with the capabilities of branching out. Check out the second track "Picture Perfect." The word "perfect" sums it up nicely. "Stay Inside" reminds me of Third Eye Blind, so much so that it was kind of eerie. This is more rock than emo, and there are subtle hints of a punk influence at times but not much. Straight forward with great melodies. "Count On Me" will stick in your head for days, as will "Closer" and the single "Suffocating." If this young band manages to improve on their next album, they could take over the world.
