Free Music Review: Excellent remastering, poor pressing

I still have my two c.1970 Spanky and Our Gang records so was thrilled to find these recordings on CD. The remastering seems to be of high quality but the pressings are terrible. It took two replacements before I had a set of CDs that would all play past about track 20. Fortunately Amazon.com sent replacements promptly - Thank you Amazon.com. Would have rated five stars if the pressings were of the same quality as the mastering and the packaging had been standard CD format, not DVD format.Free Music Review: Stunning Stardust

Goes beyond the usual greatest hits, for sure. They're one of my favorite groups from the sixties, so this marvelous Mercury music was a must-have. Includes well done liner notes, with comprehensive commentary from Richard Barton Campbell.
