Free Music Notes for ForeverFree Music Review: Forever Spice Hit: 5 Stars
I have always been and will continue to be a Spice Girls fan and after two fantastic albums, a string of solo work and becoming mothers the band is back. Although the spicy touches of Geri Halliwell have gone, the girls are still strong enough and talented enough to continue successfully, as alot of people think Geri was the only spice in Spice Girls. With their new R&B sound, the girls certainly have matured and the album is a delight to listen to and often offers many surprises. 1) HOLLER - Although the opening guitar strumming has been used before (Think TLC (No Scrubs) or PINK (There U Go))this is still a hot song and offers each girl a fairly good solo (Although Victoria gets a bit jibbed). The chorus is effectively catchy and each of the girls sound sexy and amazing. 2) TELL ME WHY - This slick R&B offering could quite possibly be the next release. After an electronic voice opens up with simply "SPICE GIRLS, DARKCHILD, LET'S DANCE", it grooves into a slinky, dance sound that Rodney Jerkins could only deliever. 3) LET LOVE LEAD THE WAY - A beautiful ballad with all the girls sounding amazing (especially Mel C and Emma), reminds me a bit of Monica's "Angel of Mine". 4) RIGHT BACK AT YA - This is a comeback type anthem that lets the girls vocally tell all the critics that said the girls were never coming back that in fact they are. The Mel B rap was surprising. A hot R&B dance sound. 5) GET DOWN WITH ME - Victoria described this as her favourite, and it's one of mine too. A funky hard beat leads this disco/dance/R&B tune that has hit written all over it. 6) WASTING MY TIME - Mel C dominates this tune, both in verses and the chorus. It's a smoother sound, but none the less just as enjoyable. 7) WEEKEND LOVE - Mel B's favourite and one of mine also. This ong changes throughout its 4 minute run. From the opening verse it's much like a ballad, through to a more upbeat dance chorus, then twoard the end a very heavy and grrrrl power rap (once again) from Mel B, before dying off to finish beautifully. 8) TIME GOES BY - I think this song is really nice and it really shows off Mel C's vocal arrangement. Really beautiful ballad. 9) IF YOU WANNA HAVE SOME FUN - Something you might expect Janet Jackson to come up with. it's a saucy and sexy disco/R&B tune that lets loose some of the spiciness in the girls (Wink Wink Nudge Nudge, tell me do you like the rudest stuff) 10) OXYGEN - This is another goregeous ballad, that has extreme potential, from Jam and Lewis (Janet) it's a sweet melodic pop ballad. 11) GOODBYE - Hopefully not an indication this will be their last album, but it's a nice way to finish the album.
Free Music Review: Hip, UP-Beat, and Awesome! Track by Track Review. Hit: 5 Stars
Here is my Track by Track review of Forever by the Spice Girls. Hope you enjoy it!!
1. Holler - 10/10
WOW! The song is great, and catchy, and the video is good, too! Awesome choice for a single. Just great. Theres nothing much else I can say about it!! Mel B (Scary)'s voice shines in this song.
2. Tell Me Why - 10/10
A song meant for Geri (Ginger), asking her why she abandoned them. This should have been released instead of 'Goodbye'. Definite number one. Victoria (Posh)'s voice shines in this song.
3. Let Love Lead The Way - 10/10
Released with 'Holler'. Of course, both got to number one. Best slow song on the album. Wonderful, and maybe the most catchy on the whole album. Mel C (Sporty)'s voice shines in this song.
4. Right Back At Ya - 9/10
Great for dancing, and parties. I wish that they would redo this song with Geri (Ginger) and get back together. The only problem with this song, taking away one point, it that their voiced, when combined, sound a little off in this song. Victoria (Posh)'s voice shines in this song.
5. Get Down With Me - 10/10
Best song on the whole album. Dance song, and also, very upbeat. Gotta love it. Mel B (Scary)'s voice shines in this song.
6. Wasting My Time - 10/10
Another 10/10! I can't help it. The whispering style of this dance song is iresistible! Mel C (Sporty)'s voice shines in this song.
7. Weekend Love - 8/10
This song has a great theme. It is slow, and Mel B's rap in this song doesn't really fit it, but it is still kind of catchy. Emma (Baby)'s voice shines in this song.
8. Time Goes By - 3/10
Yes, that is a 3/10. This is definitely the weak point of this album. Not catchy, and their voices seem out of place. Nobody's voice shines in this song.
9. If You Wanna Have Some Fun - 10/10
Is this sng slow, or fast. It's kinda both, and they fit perfectly together. The verses are much better than the chorus, though. Emma (Baby)'s voice shines in this song.
10. Oxygen - 5/10
Not a good tune to this song. It's weird because all of their voices shine in this song but it still manages to be somewhat bad. I try to ignore this song, but still not as much as 'Time Goes By'. All of their voices shine in this song.
11. Goodbye - 9/10
A song to bid farewell to Geri (Ginger). Very nice, and the No No No No's are sung well, by Emma. All of their voices shine in this song.
OVERALL ALBUM - 10/10
'Time Goes By', and 'Oxygen' fail to keep this album from a perfect ten! If you have the extra cash, you have to buy this!
Free Music Review: Spice Girls Forever Hit: 5 Stars
First I want to make out a point, I don't give 5 stars easily. Some of you might not get this album cause they're a girl band, rest in peace these girls have real talent. They co-written each song as they did on their first 2 albums. They evolved a lot since their last album Spice World. On this album they worked with Rodney Jerkins (Toni Braxton, Whitney Houston, Destany Child) and Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis (Janet Jackson, Mariah Carey). Here is a review for each song: 1) Holler: As their 1st 2 albums, it starts with a dance track. This time it's an r&b dance track. Very cool. Produced by Rodney Jerkins. 2) Tell Me Why: Also a dance track by Rodney Jerkins. Victoria does most of the singing on this one. Great song. 3) Let Love Lead The Way: A wonderful balled, with excelent vocal arrangments. This is also produced by Rodney Jerkins. 4) Right Back At Ya: This is one for the music critics that said that the Spice Girls are gone. There's a cool rap done by Melanie B. This is dance song produced by Rodney Jerkins. Excellent, right to the point. 5) Get Down With Me: When a song starts with "Let's Dance" You know you will. Rodney does a great job on this one. 6) Wasting My Time: These girls aren't wasting your time. Probably the weakest song on the album but still great to listen to. Rodney Does it again. 7) Weekend Love: It starts out as a balled then on the chours a dance beat comes on, then back at the verses it returns to a balled. Another rap by Melanie B. Thanks girls for this great track. Rodeny Jerkins does it again. 8) Time Goes By: A balled produced by Rodney Jerkins. The girls do excellent vocals on this one. This is the last song produced by Rodney Jerkins. 9) If You Wanna Have Some Fun: I'm glad the girls haven't forgot to have fun. This should be their 2nd single. It's a great disco track with a bit of an 80s feel. Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis Do a great Job producing this song. In some ways it sounds a bit like Madonna's song Music, both have this same feel. 10) Oxygen: My favorate Track on this album. "Love is like oxygen" I love the lyrics to this song. Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis have out done themselves. This one is a beautiful balled. 11) Goodbye: Well hopefully we'll have another album soon but this is goodbye to this album. This was released about 2 years ago and it still sounds great. This balled is very beautiful. This one is produced by Stannard and Rowe who worked on the girls last 2 albums. This album is a must but, no weak tracks no buble gum pop. A well deserved 5 stars on the pop album with an r&B flavour.

Free Music Review: SPICE IS ALIVE AGAIN Hit: 5 Stars
The Spice Girls third album is a great pop and RnB album. They have grown to a higher extend vocally and their talent has increased dramaticly. They wrote every hit on this latest release! Holler - Their first US single. Went to number 5 on MTV's USA TRL! Need I say more! This song is a great song to dance to. This song is the opposite of "Wannabe". Tell Me Why - A possible second single for the Spice Girls. This song is one that will go right to the top of the Dance charts. This song is about a girl who finds out her boyfriend is cheating on her, and she demands to know why. Let Love Lead The Way - The B-Side to Holler. This song is a love ballad and is played as a "slow dance" at many high school dances. Right Back Atcha' - The Spice Girls may have grown, but like all people, we all gotta scream and shout! This song is kinda like a part two to "Spice Up Your Life" The Spice Girls tell you about what they have been doing in the past three years since their last release. This song is a "Victory" song for the Spice Girls! All the dumb press who said Spice would never see day again, look who's coming right back atcha!!! Get Down With Me - One of my favorite songs on the album. VERY poppy. For all the "Never Give Up On The Good Times" fans, this is for you! A DEFINATE NUMBER ONE SINGLE!!!! Wastin' My Time - The Spice Girls still show their "Girl Power" as they would say. This song is all about that. Weekend Love - This is a love ballad about the Spice Girls past love expericences. Mel B raps out "All right pep, Spicin' it up through a groove through the minute we all hanged in it, but their aint nothing to it, We started a trend that they all imitate, a new generation of spice (meaning Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, etc.), we create!" Time Goes By - A great Spice Girls song. Shows the power in their voices and that they got emotional when singing this. If You Wanna Have Some Fun - MY FAVORITE SONG! This song is awesome!! Get dance song and will be NUMBER ONE IN AMERICA INSTANTLY!!! Oxygen - A story about a "LOVE GHOST" Goodbye - This song is a tribute to Geri AKA Ginger Spice. She left the group early 1998. This Spice Girls album was WELL worth the wait! You all should get it!! ... . FIVE STARS ALL THE WAY!
