Free Music Review: Great but SCARY BACK OFF!

I didn't really like this C.D. at first because it's not really the type of music I listen to and it's not as poppy as their prior records but then it grew on me and now I love it. the only problem I had with this C.D. was that Scary sticks her mundanely average voice in where it doesn't belong and the rest (who are quite honestly far more talented) are reduced to her backup singers. Below are my opinions and rating sytems of the songs.1. Holler: Good first track. This one track belongs to Scary and it actually does suit her voice here so I won't be picky. 8 out or 10
2. Tell Me Why: Good track. I liked this one from the beginning. Victoria does a good job with it. 10 out or 10.
3. Let Love Lead the Way: Great! I really like this one. Slow and dreamy and moving lyrics. 10 out of 10.
4. Right Back At Ya: Alright but get's extremely annoying. Sporty seems to be snearing here and of course Scary had to stick in her tough girl rap thing. 6 out of 10.
5. Get Down With Me: I really like this one. I love the rhythm. Posh once again does a good job. Scary too. 10 out of 10.
6. Wasting My Time: Hated it at first but it grew on me. It's still not very good but for some reason I quite like it. Also Scary isn't in this song! YIPEE!! 8 out or 10.
7. Weekend Love: Dreamy beat and an amazing sound! I love this one. Of course if Scary hadn't stuck in her rap it would have been better because it just doesn't fit! But...10 out of 10.
8. Time Goes By: The real nice mushy ballad on the album. Sporty's soulful voice does a lot for it and it is a great slow dance song. I love this one. 10 out of 10.
9. If You Wanna Have Some Fun: A real old school spice song! would have done well on the last C.D. Scary you may enter! Her voice sounded right with this. 10 out of 10.
10. Oxygen: I think this is my favourite song on the album. It's breathy and beautiful and I love it! Everyone does superbly on it. 10 out of 10.
11. Goodbye: A good track but it sounds seriously out of place on this C.D. and I think they made a mistake including it. They changed their sound so much it hardly even sounds like them anymore. But I do like the track so 10 out of 10!
All in all this is a good C.D. and could very well make a fan of someone who wasn't before!
Free Music Review: Spice Girls Are Back and Better Than Ever!

There isn't much to be said about this album because everyone has already written about how great this album is. The Spice Girls have evolved with this album. They no longer sound like a teeny-bop girl group, but a mature group that has reached new levels. While their first two CDs were great this one stands alone. The nasal and childish sound is gone, and has been replaced with hot beats, cool lyrics, and top of the line producers! This can be heard on the first single "Hollar". A great dance song with an awesome beat that should have made the album really sell. Rodney Jerkins (Darkchild) worked on the second song "Tell Me Why" so you know that it going to be good. It's an upbeat, dance song that will keep you rolling on the next track. "Let Love Lead the Way" is track 3. It is a ballad such as 2 become 1 and Viva Forever. It's really good and shouldn't be overlooked. Tracks 4, 5, and 6 are all very well written dance tracks! Track 5 "Get Down With Me" is the highlight of the album. This track has to be one of the best dance songs that I have ever heard. If you love dance songs, this track will be on repeat forever. Do not miss track 5, it's some of their best work to date! Tracks 7, 8, and 9 are all mid-tempo songs. Each is unique with its own sound. In fact, they could all be released as singles and probably chart relatively high. Track 10, "Oxygen", really slows things down. It's a wonderful ballad that shouldn't be missed. It has a great message and the lyrics are well written. The album ends with a track called "Goodbye". This is very fitting for the end of the album. It is very sad, though. I guess it could be looked at as happy also because it's about looking back on past memories, but at the same time you are saying goodbye to a dear friend. This song is the second highlight on the album. Do not miss "Goodbye" because it is probably the best written track I have heard in a long time. Overall, a very strong album for the Spice Girls. Gerri or no Gerri, these girls are going places and I can't wait for their next album if there will be one. I only wish this album got to more people becuase it is very stong. The girls are back with a new album, a new image (yes, that really is Mel C on the cover next to Emma) and a totally new sound. Gone are the quarky, pop sensation themes that made them the stars they are. The girls are taking a more serious tone, theming around survival after the fact, love that can conquer anything and the constant varible of "Real friendship never ends." The album as a whole has taken a more R&B, Destiny's-childish sound but rest assured, the girls haven't taken a change for the worse. This album is the best so far (even though it's only their third)and there's a lot of honesty in it. You have to listen to these lyrics now instead of just memorizing and reciting them. The girls put a lot of effort into this, and it's paid off. And if you're a spice-basher, your opinion may change. The girls have unknowingly revamped themsleves (did you know they dropped their "-spice" names?) and their look is great. The biggest surprise on this album is Victoria Adams, who is finally vocalizing a lot more than she did on the last two albums. She sounds wonderful! She's the biggest surprise this album will offer. I can't wait for her to do a solo album (but I look forward the most to Emma). There's such a wide variety of songage used on the album that it's got a little bit of everything. From the sweet intense lyrics of "Let Love Lead the Way" (which will infect your brain as soon as you hear it) to "If you wanna have some fun" and it's across-the-room-face effect, everyone has to like something on this album. My favorites? "Let Love Lead the Way". "Time Goes By", "If You Wanna Have Some Fun", "Oxygen" (a will-be classic for lovey-dovey's) and of course, the farewell-to-Geri "Good-bye" (which is a wonderful song with an outstanding video. Too bad it was created under such bad circumstances) Summary: Get this album now! The girls are reinventing themselves for YOU, and this album is worth every second of your time. Spice fan or not, Spice lover or hater, you're going to find at least one thing on this album you like, I guarantee it!Free Music Review: 3rd time's the charm . . .

i bought dis cd thinkin dat (lyke their 2 previous cd's) i wouldn't be able to listen to the whole cd wit out skippin thru some tracks . . . well after the first listen i knew i was wrong. well, it's not my most favorite cd ever but it is good and it does go way beyond their previous standards. they've matured so much in their voices and personalitites and it really shows in their music. probably the main reason dat dis appeals to me so much is the fact dat rodney jerkins a.k.a. darkchild is very r&b influenced and produced many tracks on dis cd. first off: holler, a great way to come back. a great song dat keeps you wonderin and wantin more and more and u can definitely hear the r&b vibe . . . tell me why als one of the best fast up beat r&b songs wit a clever chorus . . . let love lead the way, though slow, is a very good song wit tru-to-lyfe lyrics . . . right back at ya is an ok song but i lyke all the other ones better but i do lyke the beat on dis one . . . get down wit me definitely keeps wit the whole spice girls sound but adds the darkckild touch and makes it kewl . . . wasting my tyme is a tyte song wit the cleverest lyrics and dis beat can get stuck in my head ferever . . . weekend love . . . phatness! it blends beautiful harmonies and vocals wit a professional darkchild beat. the chorus is tyte, the sounds are too . . . time goes by has very good lyrics but there's just a little sumthin missin from dis sloe song . . . if you wanna have some fun has a fun party type beat . . . oxygen is pretty good both in the lyrics and sounds and one of the better slow songs on dis cd . . . goodbye, you can't beat the classics because to dis day it's still my favorite spice song. sure, the spice girls may not have always been the most sophisticated and angelic group ever but their own admit to their human nature brings out the best of these grrls wit these tru to lyfe lyrics and hits dead on how it feels to lose someone. one more thing, don't stereotype these grrls because they are trying to break what they've been labeled as and dis cd proves the exact opposite of what come's from the media's mouth . . . check it out fer yerself . . .Free Music Review: Step Up

The Spice Girls 3rd album Forever, had little promotion but still sold up to 4 million copies worldwide! a good achievement, since the days of Spice and Spiceworld in 1996 and 1997 the girls have moved on to a Destinys Child style RnB flavour to their music, which is definetly the best move they could have made, True its not the same without Geri but they produced one wicked album here!HOLLER - The album's centerpiece, very catchy and very energetic, this song is, it was number 1 in the UK, I listen to it all the time and it never tires me!!!!! ''Imagine us together me driving you Insane'', the chorus is extremely catchy and this song really will make you Holler!
TELL ME WHY - This was supposed to be the 2nd single of the album but never got released, its good but not one of my favourites, it is a very good song anyway mind you!
LET LOVE LEAD THE WAY - Was a double A Side to Holler, gorgious ballad, not as good as ''2 Become 1'' or ''Viva Forever'' but very inspiring and smooth to listen to!
RIGHT BACK AT YA - My second fave song after Holler, very very catchy beat and a kick but song, this will have you dancing for sure!
GET DOWN WITH ME - Good song but kind of dull in places, listenable but not very catchy as others!
WASTING MY TIME - I love Mel C's voice in this song, very different sounding to her's in previous spice girl songs, good blend of sounds in this one, a favourite!
WEEKEND LOVE - Very Very catchy and Emma sounds wicked in this song and shows how her vocals have grown!
TIME GOES BY - One of the most beautiful songz Ive ever heard in my life, truly inspiring, Mel C takes this song to another level, it has energy and power, its kind of sad aswell but should have been a single!
IF YOU WANNA HAVE SOME FUN - Nice dancey song and Victoria sounds real good on it as does everyone!
OXYGEN - Another weepy ballad, very strong lyrics and lovely sounds to accompany a wicked song!
GOODBYE - Old sound from 1998, this is Geri Halliwell's song, makes me think of her everytime I hear it! A true Classic!
10/10 album! Buy it u wont be dissapointed!
