Free Music Notes for ForeverFree Music Review: Wonderful third time around.... Hit: 5 Stars
Their first two albums were undeniably very teenybopper pop, with infectious chorus like "if you wanna be my lover..." running through your head, whether you wanted to or not. But they've changed a lot over the past years, and this CD shows it. Starting from Holler, which is a R&B dance song that is quite catchy, it goes through a rollercoaster of genres, from R&B to ballad to pop with some raps here and there. Although some songs are not the best (Tell Me Why wasn't that great to me), the other songs make it up. Oxygen has to be the BEST ballad I have ever heard for a long while. And I bet you that it will be a single someday soon. Holler and Let Love Lead The Way, which were released as a double-A side, are very good songs in their own right. Holler is a song you can (or must) dance to, and LLLTW is another good ballad. Wasting My Time is catchy too, along with If You Wanna Have Some Fun. All in all, this is a great CD for Spice and non-Spice fans alike.
Free Music Review: Forever Spice Hit: 5 Stars
It's kinda sad to think that the Spice Girls were technically the ones that started the current boom of pop music three years ago with their debut, considering that they were always more fun than anything that has followed since. They topped even themselves in 97 when they released a sophomore album actually better than their hit debut. Now after three years they're back with what is their most American sounding album yet. Rather than traffic in the Europop world they were best known for, they resurface with hard-edge urban beats, and the results are not nearly as bad as most critics are proclaiming. The first song,Holler, has a very familiar beat that permeates within today's urban/top 40 world, but it still sounds really good. And Let Love Lead the Way is probably their best ballad since 2 Becomes 1 oh those many moons ago. I really hope that previous fans of the Girls ignore the savagry that they are currently getting from the critics. This really is a great album.
Free Music Review: The girls show their talents. Hit: 5 Stars
Nobody can understand how excellent is this album if he does not listen it by his own. The girls made an exellent job no matter if this album hadn't been successfull. Great lyrics, great vocals, great music. You can listen in here all kind of music;R&B,Pop,Soul even and Rap. The cd may be the least successfull of the group but I am sure that it will last in the history of music. And that because it consists one of the best pop songs of the last years,Holler, and two of the best ballads which are also their best songs,Let love lead the way and Goodbye. It's so sad they will not work again together even if all their fans still hope for that. In fact they willnever make in their solo careers the huge success and glory they made as a band because people love them together and also love the fact that 5 different personalities,5 different voices and 5 different kinds of beauty stack together as a band. The split was their choice so we have to say them GOODBYE.
Free Music Review: Forvever and ...More Hit: 5 Stars
The first single for this album, Holler is definitely a song that make you wanna sing along. When it was first played in the radio, I was charmed by it.... And now, the second single which is a ballad has quickly gained entry to the charts as well. Let Love Lead The Way is a smooth and slow number that make you fall in love to it. Other favourites in this album includes oxygen, weekend love and a few funky tracks like tell me why and right back at ya. For her fans, dont worry, they still maintain their post Spice Girls with a polished and updated pop this time around. Also, with the help of Rodney Jerkins(Whitney Houston) and Terry Lewis and Jimmy Jam(Mariah Carey) as producers, Spice Girls will go no wrong. Try to look out for the COOL video for Holler too, it's creatively done and also their new looks for the Spice Girls. Way to go! If you are bored with the season's songs, why not trying out Forever for a different flavour.
Free Music Review: Forever proves the Spice Girls are back! Hit: 5 Stars
This album is by far one of the best albums I have heard in a long time. Once again the girls provide us with a CD we can listen to all the way through. There are funky pop songs like "Right Back at Ya"- which is a wicked song about their return, "If You Wanna Have Some Fun", and "Get Down With Me"; RnB flavor songs like "Tell Me Why", "Holler", "Weekend Love"-which has a cool little rap from Mel B, and "Wasting My Time"; and beautiful ballads with "Let Love Lead the Way", "Time Goes By", "Goodbye" and "Oxygen". The album displays how truly talented these girls are, they all sound amazing. This album is a definite must, even if your not a Spice fan, you will be after hearing this album. So get ready 'cos the Girls are back in town and comming "Right Back at Ya"!
