Free Music Notes for Ga Ga Ga Ga GaFree Music Review: Oh Baby!!! Hit: 5 Stars
They found it in commercial appeal this time. Spoon is a band of singular vision whose idiosyncracies should actually make them one of the biggest bands in the States. Sadly, another straight classic will largely be ignored by the public. "The Underdog", "Finer Feelings", and "Don't You Evah" are hooky singles that deserve heavy radio rotation and ringtone ubiquity. Do us all a favor, buy, listen, love.
Free Music Review: Spoon at the top of their form Hit: 5 Stars
As an veteran fan of Indie-rock and all of its incarnations, I must say that Spoon is one of the most consistent and pleasurable from album to album. Their latest is just about as good as it gets when it comes to a straightforward studio album. It will probably end up on many year-end top ten lists, so I suggest that you drop a dime and pick it up. Excellent record.
Free Music Review: seriously amazing Hit: 5 Stars
Britt Daniels never ceases to amaze me with his catchy beats. I can't get enough of Spoon. Although I do no like this album as much as Gimme Fiction or Kill the Moonlight, it still definitely emphasizes the classic Spoon sound that causes me to have a hop in my step when I listen to them walking down the street tuned into my lovely iPod. :)
Free Music Review: Loooove this cd. Hit: 5 Stars
I'm a huge Spoon fan. I like their minimalist approach to arrangement. They do add some fun things in this album, a bit of a Motown sound on one song, and horns on another, but without it being cheesy.
If you like Spoon at all, you'll love this record. If you've never heard them, this is a good one to start on.
Free Music Review: Better than most of Spoon's other CDs! Hit: 5 Stars
I've only got three Spoon CDs and I can honestly say that this one is the best of the lot and I dig it quite a bit. The new one, Transferance, isn't so great and Kill the moonlight just bored me silly. More like this one guys!
