what some of you people are talking about. Listened to this all the way through tonight, and I think it's their best. It rocks like crazy, and if you listen to the vinyl on a good system, the production is stunning. Great songs, great hooks, and they stretch out a little more instrumentally. I have to say that this is quite different from previous Spoon, but in a great way. They're adding texture to their music that they haven't done before and I like it! The "foundation" of the tunes is previous Spoon, but the delivery is more confident, daring, and creative. Buy this CD if you've heard Spoon or not and you're in for an audible treat.Free Music Review: Spoon is moving ahead.

Chances are on first 3 or 4 listens you will wonder what they are up to here. But give it some time. They are clearing a new path. In doing so, sometimes the path is not to your liking. How is this band not HUGE!? Almost every Spoon album is amazing and this ranks right at the top with K.T.M, G.C.T, and G.M.F. In particular songs like - The Mystery Zone, Got Nuffin, I Saw the Light, Is Lover Forever. You can't go wrong with this album.
