Free Music Review: Staind is Back!
Hit: 5 Stars

At first, one thinks that due to all the minor keys these songs are played in, it would either be hard to get used to, or would just plain suck--but let me tell you, it is quite the opposite!

Staind has come back with a much darker and heavier sound, but even with such, the harmonies and melodies (there are a few melodies ;) are still vibrant.

Songs such as "Please," "Schizophrenic Conversations," and "Everything Changes" stand out due to their combination of both darker tones and huge harmonies. It's uplifting, really, which is quite strange to say, considering the lyrics.

This album is amazing, Staind never ceases to come through!

Free Music Review: Staind: Chapter V . AWESOME
Hit: 5 Stars

Staind went back to the way their earlier albums sound with some of the tracks. Chapter V is a well rounded album and kept me waiting for the next track the whole album. Aaron Lewis' melodic approach to singing and songwriting sends the listener into a trance and makes the listener think about old times as well as the "new". Very good album by Staind but not as strong as "Break the Cycle". I'm an avid Staind follower and the album gives me chills because it reminds me of a previous "life" if you will. I would recommend this album to even the most novice of hard rock/alternative listeners. Keep doing what you do Staind, and you'll be right where you want to be!!

Free Music Review: Among Staind's best album to date
Hit: 5 Stars

Upon first listen to Staind's latest masterpiece "Chapter V" I was blown away. There was not a single song on the album that I did not enjoy. I found myself listening to it over and over again. It definitely brings back to the days of "Break the Cycle," with a mix of hard rock and melodic ballards. My personal favorite on the album has to be "Everything Changes," which begins with just soft instrumental and focus on Aaron's powerful voice. The chorus then goes into an awesome guitar playing before returning to the softer sound. I would recommend this album to all Staind fans, and think that this is a must for those just getting into Staind.
