Free Music Notes for Chapter VFree Music Review: Staind's BEST 5 Stars
Ok, anyone that says that "only a couple tracks are good" on this album or that "Staind is a dead band" is a complete moron! I am not even a huge Staind fan, but I must admit that this is one of the best albums I have heard in a long time. A fair warning though, you proabably won't get hooked by listening to it one time....it took me a second time to get hooked....and PLEASE, do NOT skip tracks after listening to 15 seconds of the song, you really have to listen to the whole song to realise how good it is....personally I would say this album ranks above BREAK THE CYCLE....BELIEVE ME, this is an excellent album!!!!!! Lyrically, STAIND is by far the best rock band out in the world today...and this album proves it. WARNING: Anyone who says this album sucks is a cheesy 3 DOORS DOWN or CREED fan....don't listen to those idiots and buy this album!!!!!!
Free Music Review: Five stars - but deserves ten Hit: 5 Stars
Pure f**king brilliance.
Those are three words that defines the quality of this album. Staind offer us this 12-track album, Chapter V, a fantastic mix of pulse-hammering guitars and incredible vocals. Tracks like "King Of All Excuses", "Cross To Bear" and "Paper Jesus", deliver insanely heavy guitar riffs combined with the awesome vocals of frontman Aaron Lewis. Meanwhile mellower songs like "Everything Changes" and "Trippy" are thrown in to slow the momentum down. Every song on this album scores ten out of ten, as I just can't find any flaws in any of them. The best track, I think, is "Cross To Bear". Excellent chorus, great guitar riffs and a chilling opening are only a few of the things that make the song so good.
But don't let me describe every song for you, find out for yourself and go out and buy this album now.
Free Music Review: Awesome, as always. Hit: 5 Stars
The new album by Staind is friggin awesome. They are as powerful and real as ever. They have gotten a little harder as compared to 14 Shades of Grey. It is so good, I couldn't stop listening to it for days. I have been waiting for years for them to get hard again. They are not metal hard, but a melodic powerful hard.
There is a little something for everyone on this album. A few slower songs, a few harder songs, a few medium songs.. but every one is filled with the same passion and truth as all Staind songs have always been. Aaron has truly grown so much, and I love how it is so evident in his lyrics.
My top 2 favorites are King of All Excuses and Everything Changes.
The little money spent for this album is returned 10 fold through the music and I would recommend it for everyone.
Free Music Review: Top 5 Rock Albums of the Year!! Hit: 5 Stars
Listen up, I am sick and tired of reading the crap that seeps out of critics' mouths everytime a good solid rock group puts out a CD now a days. This is a very excellent album and very worthy to be one of the best of the year! I have been following Staind for quite some time now and I have thoroughly enjoyed their lyrics and tone. Aaron Lewis does a superb job at writing what he feels in life and then putting the right melody with it. Does that make this album suck because he struggles in life and expresses it through his music? Absolutely not!! That's why us "normal" people enjoy it so much because we can relate to the lyrics. Music is more than just pop, it's something that can provide healing and release, it's theraputic. I highly recommend this album and feel it is the best of 2005!!
Free Music Review: Love it... or hate it... the choice is yours Hit: 5 Stars
My rating of each song (out of a possible 5 stars):
1. Run Away - *****
2. Right Here - slower song, but I like it a lot *****
3. Paper Jesus - ****
4. Schizophrenic Conversations - ** least favorite song
5. Falling - *****
6. Cross to Bear - ***
7. Devil - **** this song took a while for me to like it but it eventually grew on me; slow song
8. Please - ****
9. Everything Changes - *****
10. Take This - *****
11. King of All Excuses - *****
12. Reply - ****
This is one of my favorite albums right now. I won't compare it to the previous Staind albums. This album has a different feel to it and therefore it can't be compared to the others. I won't say it's their best or their worst. I just like it!
