Stan Getz has a number of excellent recordings released from the last ten years that he was performing. All of the Concord discs are fantastic, as well as any of the others. What sets this newly released set apart is it's consistency of mood and typically outstanding musicianship. Getz uses the same musicians he did on many of the other discs. Herb Alpert's production sets a mellow, but substantial vibe to this performance. Great recording quality too. A superb disc in every way.
