Free Music Notes for Us Against the CrownFree Music Review: Dispatch who? Hit: 5 StarsI love dispatch...one of my favorite bands of all time. State Radio is even better.
Free Music Review: Very good with more to come. Hit: 5 StarsI have introduced a lot of people to State Radio, recommending them pretty constantly to all of my friends and family. Everybody that hears this album loves it and either buys it or downloads it shortly after they hear it. The common misconception that I have noticed through reading reviews and speaking to people is that there are alot of people that are having a hard time getting around the fact that this is NOT Dispatch. I personally love Dispatch and everything that they did, but I am excited about State Radio. This album brings out an unrestricted political perspective from Chad where the lyrics that he writes come from the heart without having to worry about his bandmate's interpretation. The beats are great, the lyrics are great and the riffs are catchy. It is a hard sound to get out of your head. Just wait until Year of the Crow.(new album) actually dont wait I downloaded it from iTunes 3 weeks ago and it is strongly recommended as well as anything you can get from a band called Current Swell. Gotta love it.
Free Music Review: Unbelievably good Hit: 5 StarsChock full of reggae rock beats, politically relevant lyrics and memorable refrains my only question is why aren't more people listening to this band? "Camilo" enriches our wordly political perspective, "Mr. Larkin" heightens our personal perspective and "Love at Caesar's" is just plain fun. Listen to it once, listen to it twice, listen to it a thousand times. You'll hear something new every time.
Free Music Review: Not quite Dispatch but yes I like it Hit: 3 StarsAlmost four stars, State Radio has a definitive Dispatch rythm and vibe but it lacks the creative impression that Dispatch listeners fell in love with. A few of the songs are very addicting and you will find yoursef listening to them over and over. Play the whole album through first and then listen to Riddle and Camilo again, you will not be disapointed.
Free Music Review: Amazing Hit: 5 StarsThis was an excellent purchase.
If you like jamming Reggae/ Rock, State Radio is a great uplifting band to listen to. Their songs flow so smoothly. And the deep lyrics are very moving.
