Free Music Notes for Year of the Crow
Free Music Review: Definitely a keeper!!!

This band was introduced to me by my brother who lives many states away via text..."Everyone is freaking out that I haven't told you about this band yet sis..." he said...so naturally the next time I was at a computer I jumped onto Amazon and starting serching for the album that he suggested I start with "Us Against the Crown"...seeing that they had a new album "year of the Crow" I thought...what the hey, I'll go ahead and splurge! So, while I love both albums, I would probably take five or six songs off of each one to create the ultimate in State Radio listening pleasure. I think that I would have to choose "CIA" and "Gang of Thieves" as the two knockout songs on the disc, but again, this album needs a lot of airtime to fully appreciate the depth and soul of this release. The passion is evident, the lyrics and musicianship strong and powerful...think the Clash meet the Pogues meet Sublime meet Ziggy Marley meet Three Doors Down...hard to classify!! Highly Recommended!!
