I heard about SK and the 6ers in a roundabout way. A friend on MySpace had them on her profile page and in a moment of boredom, I clicked on the link and the opening piano on "Sweet Sophia" hooked me. I sampled more from other sources and knew, just from the few seconds allowed on each clip, that I would love this. Sweet, thoughtful, intellegent, sometimes mean...these songs about relationships, friends, family, and growing are straight from the heart but never sappy. They are "guy songs" through and through without resorting to sex or violence. Girls, you'll like them too; my friend Melanie sure does. One smart CD.
I've yet to listen to the others by this group, but I sure am willing.
