Free Music Notes for El CorazonFree Music Review: A Class Act Hit: 5 Stars
Forget labels, this was the best popular music album of 1997. Earles best since his first release and his third great album in a row. He seems to get better and better. He is up there with the all-time great singer-songwriters. Long may he continue.
Free Music Review: Top Notch Hit: 5 Stars
There's only a small handful of people on the planet at any given time worth listening to musically. Steve Earle's one. Even though he seems to have run out of gas in the last few years, this CD was recorded when he was at full stride in the zone.
Free Music Review: This is some good music Hit: 5 Stars
Steve has paid his dues, listened to the masters (Townes and Guy Clark), played with them and is now doing his own classics. I liked this CD when I first played it and it still holds up. The music is great and the lyrics are solid.
Free Music Review: Great Album w/MUCH variety Hit: 5 Stars
Just a great album. Many different styles. The big complaint (as I type (Aug 2010)) of recent music by Steve Earle is his voice quality. No worry on El Corazon-he sounds great
