Free Music Review: Steve, you have great respect in the Aussie music scene.
Hit: 4 Stars

Now STEVE'S releases...are all absolutely great. On this release especially, the songs are concise, the placement of the guitar is exacting & tones are spot on and well, the voice.Should I say one of the best male voices in popular music I have heard.Almost up there with Clapton, no....equal! Why is it that Steve's albums sound so great? Feel, man, feel. He has got it in spades, he is in control, he has a plan and man it all comes together. All I can say is, your kids must be really proud of you Steve,as you have really brought a lot of class to contemporary American Radio friendly Rock.It bites, has some BALLS, the lyrics are very meaningful, we know you have been there.Super album mate and PLEASE, come down to Australia.

Free Music Review: Luke, you are the father ...
Hit: 4 Stars

...not only of the fantastic, now disbanded, American-underated superband Toto, but of ALL session guitarists, songwriters and singers in rock. This is certainly your best "solo" effort. Sheer sonic professionalisim. You desereve a retrospective 30-CD boxed set. Thank you for never missing a lick for 31 years in Toto - I look forward to many more years of music. You'll Always Be There For Me.

Free Music Review: my wife likes it
Hit: 2 Stars

This is my first foray into LUKATHER after playing guitar for 30 years and hearing all the accolades and praise on his various work I thought I should finally check him out.I was very disappointed.Expecting to hear some great guitar it was a Toto LET down (pun intended).Seriously while the musicanship is stellar think STEELY DAN I feel the albun is over produced and his guitar tone never changes from song to song.Even the vocals have a sort of monotone quality about them. For years I have heard he burns hard but I didnt hear it here.Anyway my wife likes it.
