When I finally heard Street Talk it was pure, true Steve Perry. His amazing voice that knows no limits, he does hit the eighth note and holds it. The heartbreak and humor of this CD is amazing. "Don't tell why you're leaving, just pack your bags and go". Been there. Honestly, Steve Perry shows his great range, low and sexy, powerful and love missed or gone wrong. The sound is great it really can be cranked and still sounds great. Even better. Buy three, one for the car, one for the main room you listen to music in, and one for your bedroom. Trust me it saves trips to get your Street Talk fix. How about ten stars?Free Music Review: What A Ride :)

Steve Perry knocked this one out of the park! A fantastic first solo album. You get sucked in with the first track "Oh Sherrie" and keeping jamming to the end with "If Only for the Moment Girl". You also get your other favorties "Foolish Heart", "She's Mine", and "Strung Out". Not to mention some less known songs, but still amazing "Captured by the Moment", "If Only for the Moment Girl", and "My My My". This CD is wonderful!. I tried to locate it at a local Best Buy ann the never had it so I remembered Amazon and as always you came thru for me.
This CD is very hard to find in my area because I is Steve Perry solo without Journey. All I was able to find in my area was Journey CD.
I would encourage anyone who was a fan of Journey they must have this Steve Perry-Street Talk CD!

ok, i am a huge steve perry fan and i think he one of (the) greatest singers of all time. if you know him just from his "journey" days, this cd will rock your socks off! great variety of songs and his vocal performance is amazing! check out "don't tell why your leaving" and you will know what i mean. too much fun! i listen to this cd every morning on my way to work...Free Music Review: amazing voice ...

Steve Perry can really touch your heart... good or bad situations. He is so missed by his fans. Might as well get all his music I can now. Cause if he does come back, I don't think I can afford it. (smirks) And Im sorry, I try to get over Steve. With the New lead singer of Journey, he just doesn't cut it. (my own opinion, but what do I know?)
