Music without any beat can be boring, but not Steven Halpern's Inner Peace. The music is filled with melodic tunes and a positive and loving feeling that leaves the listener with a sense of wholeness, balance, focusation and well-being. While I'm a person take likes to exercise hard I also need recovery fast and Inner Peace really works for that purpose. It's hard to imagine where this music doesn't fit; I use it as background music while I'm working or reading and while I'm resting.
I've listened to some new age music where the artist doesn't seem to know how to give that extra feeling of balance or structure to the listener (it only work as relaxing background music but is kind of boring at the same time). Steven Halpern gives an image to his music and fills this background music with melodic and crystalized tunes that works as a healing process for the entire brain, not just the relaxation part. The result is a sense of control and a positive connection between brain and body. It really gives you a sense of Inner Peace.
