Free Music Review: Excellent collection from a timeless performer

I have been a huge fan of FM and Stevie for years and I am very glad she came out with a compilation like this. I know a lot of us Stevie fans have most of this music (which is a common complaint among reviewers) but I think that the addition of the live tracks as well as ones that were previously included on Timespace are worth it. And if you buy the CD/DVD package, then the DVD is worth the price alone.
Having said that, the music is great, the live tracks are excellent. But the real treasure here is the DVD. If she had just included her videos that would have been more than enough but she goes a step further for her fans and includes a look at footage taped during the recording of her Belladonna album AND commentaries by Stevie on every video! I watched all the videos and commentaries and Stevie is a riot. She can laugh at herself, some of her lyrics, her hair, and even the sometimes non-sensical ways 80's music videos are made. I found myself chuckling through the whole commentary!
This is an excellent buy and if you are having trouble finding it at your local music store (much like I did) definitely buy it here. You won't be disappointed!

I have been waiting for this set for over two months now. After scouring 3 stores before finding a copy of the CD/DVD (Target only had the CD, who would buy that??), I found it at Barnes and Noble. The CD itself isn't entirely spectacular. I already have all of the tracks (except for the live versions of Rock n Roll, Edge of 17, and Landslide, and Rhiannon). The most interesting part about the CD (other than the exceptional live versions, which do differ from previous live versions of these songs), is the sequencing. It's interesting to hear "I Can't Wait" after "Edge..." or "Planets of the Universe" after "Stand Back." I wouldn't have thought to place them in that order. The most exceptional piece in this package is the DVD. I love the fact that you can view the videos with or without the commentary. The home video is a very special treat. I highly recommend this product. My only real complaint is, knowing how prolific a songwriter Stevie Nicks is, that there isn't one single new track to speak of. I agree she needs to kick out some new material; it's great to have her out touring and having a good time, but 6 years is a long enough wait.Free Music Review: Worth the purchase price for the DVD alone

As a diehard Stevie fan for over 20 years, even I was a little skeptical about another "Greatest Hits" compilation. After all, I own "Timespace" and "Enchanted." Nevertheless, I made the purchase, more interested in the accompanying DVD than the CD.
Was I in for a surprise . . .while I do agree with other reviewers that the CD is missing some key Stevie songs, some of the remixes on here are just incredible. I especially enjoyed the "club remix" of "Dreams."
The real gem in this purchase, however, is the DVD. Seeing these old videos again was amazing. What I got the most enjoyment out of was listening to the commentary Stevie provided about each video. You feel like she is watching the videos with you, filling in the blanks behind the storyline of the videos, remembering details even she has forgotten as she watches these long-lost treasures. Additionally, in each video, she comments on her wardrobe and especially her hair, which is hysterical!
A must-have for any Stevie fan. You will listen and watch over and over again.
Free Music Review: The Eternally Mesmerizing Ms. Nicks

I've played this new collection quite a few times in just the past 24 hours since its release...despite the fact that I already own all of these songs on Stevie's other CD's. There is no one remotely like her, and as a writer, no one has come up with more artistic, poetic rock music that anyone and everyone can identify with. However, as any Stevie Nicks fan will tell you, there's a LOT---and I mean A LOT---of great material missing. I guess for that, you should buy her "Enchanted" boxed set.
If I were you, DEFINITELY spring for the CD/DVD combo of "Crystal Visions". The transferred videos, sound quality, and most of all, Stevie's delightful commentary makes it worth twice the price. I was astounded that anyone could recall so many amusing details after all the time that's past. Her recollections feel so personal, relaxed, and unscripted, it's like having this amazing gal sitting next to you. Stevie is one person who's way overdue to write what could only be a fascinating autobiography.

The CD carries on the same tracks as the DVD which is a PLUS! All the songs are absolutely wonderful and almost as stunning to listen to when you're sitting live at the concert! The DVD that accompanies this wonderful CD is AMAZING! It has some music video's that I have never even seen before and it gives the option of commentary or not. Though I must say I reccomend the commentary to be left on, as Stevie describes her feelings and emotions through out the video's and adds some humorous flare! I found myself laughing through many video's! After you've enjoyed the video collection, you are gifted with some never before scenes of Stevie recording her "Bella Donna" album in the studio! What a treat! To really get the full impact of the greatness, YOU MUST VIEW THE DVD AND LISTEN TO THE CD FOR YOURSELF! If there was a higher amount of stars I could give then I would! I HIGHLY reccomend this buy! It's a GREAT addition to any fan of Stevie Nicks! **ROCK ON STEVIE!!**
