As with anything Stevie Nicks - I eagerly awaited the arrival of "Crystal Visions", and it doesnt disappoint.
Although some of the songs have been covered before in the Enchanted Enchanted: The Works of Stevie Nickscollection, the extra features included in this set are well worth the purchas - Including audio from her Melbourne concert in January 2006.
As for the DVD - there is clips and concert footage that I hadnt seen before that I am now very happy to have in my collection.

Crystal Visions is a superb Stevie Nicks collection, culling together all her greatest hits in both music and video formats. The songs speak for themselves, "Stand Back", "Stop Draggin' My Heart Around", "Leather & Lace", "Edge Of Seventeen", "Silver Springs", "Rhiannon", etc. are all classics (the only hit missing is one of her best songs, the country-rock Top 40 hit "After The Glitter Fades"). The DVD is a great bonus. Even though some of the videos are elementary in nature, it's great to have them available. I have loved Stevie Nicks since the first time I heard Landslide from the Fleetwood Mac White Album and then the gorgeous Silver Springs hooked me forever with all the rest of her classics, Sara, Gypsy, Gold Dust Woman, Bella Donna, After the Glitter Fades, etc. HOWEVER, the real treat is the DVD of all her hit videos and listening to Stevie reminisce and share those moments with us again but on a more personal level. The making of Bella Donna reminded me of how beautiful she truly was back then and still is. The CD is fabulous, of course, but the real surprise was the DVD. If you watch the videos with the commentary on it's a real treat. Stevie gives us an insight into what was going on in her life at the time each of the videos were made and she does so with a sincerity and self-effacing sense of humor. Very nice. I was fortunate enough to have caught this tour in Norfolk and I will forever treasure the experience in my memory. Every track is a hit. I just don't see any talent like this out there on the scene today. There will never be another Stevie Nicks. Great stuff.

First of all, the packaging for Crystal Visions (CD/DVD)is a real work of art. The songs are her best material & just to spice it up, there are some new cuts tossed in, like "Rock & Roll(Live)" and I LOVE the unique arrangement on "Dreams"(with Deep Dish). The CD is excellent (16 tracks), but the DVD is OUTSTANDING! Best collection of Stevie Nicks videos I've ever seen & it's all on one disc! Even if a person owns no other material by Stevie, this collection is so good it stands alone on its merit & is definitely worth buying.
