I have to say, I bought this just as a mildly enthused Stevie fan. But I've quickly grown to enjoy her dark irony and poetic justice. I love the wonder that she throws into this collection. From the opening song, "Enchanted", to the closing piano version of "Rhiannon", this 3 disc set is complete. When you sit down and listen to it, you hear the diversity of her 80's music. From the classic feel of "Stop Draggin' My Heart Around", the 80's synth feel of "Stand Back", to the calmly evil "Whole Lotta Trouble". It even contains songs I would've passed over if this had been a regular Stevie album, "Ooh My Love", and "The Wild Heart". I guess I just love it. By the way, "Thousand Days" and "Battle of the Dragon" are two of the coolest Stevie songs ever!!Free Music Review: An "Enchanting" Selection from Stevie Nicks

Stevie Nicks, legendary chanteuse of Fleetwood Mac, has dazzled us once again with this three CD boxed set celebrating her amazing twenty year career. Disc one contains hits from her first few albums, including "Stop Draggin' My Heart Around," her smash 1981 duet with Tom Petty, and the masterful, majestic ballad "Beauty and the Beast." Disc two includes songs from her later solo efforts, such as "Rooms on Fire," and "Has Anyone Ever Written Anything for you." Of course, any true Stevie fan would go right to disc three, which contains unreleased gems like the moving "Sleeping Angel," and an amazing live version of concert favorite "Gold and Braid." "Enchanted" is a must-have for Stevie Nicks lovers-- I've owned it for a year and still haven't tired of it!Free Music Review: How To Do A Boxed Set, Love, Stevie

Not one hit on this set was missed, and that makes this set a "how to" for artists around long enough with a catalog worthy and volumess to warrant a boxed set. Stevie's album cuts and appearances on various soundtracks and other artists albums are included here, making this boxed set what all boxed sets are intended to be, an excellent summary and comprehensive collection of an excellent body of work, all beautifully remastered. Stevie was working on a new studio album during research for this project, the long awaited "Trouble In Shangri-La," which took her seven years to complete. Note the absence of a "new song" for this collection, save for the re-recording of "Rhiannon," stripped down to piano and haunting vocal, intended by the songwriter to give closer attention to the nucleus of the song, the lyric.Free Music Review: Enchanted, the perfect collection.

Enchanted has all of Stevie Nicks' best songs comprised onto this attractive album, with an extra disc of interesting demos and live versions. I would recommend this boxed set to anyone who likes Stevie Nicks, as it includes all of her top twenty, top ten and top five hits, as well as a large range of her lesser known album cuts. Some versions have been altered, mostly for the better, except for Stand Back, which I think has lost some of it's energy, as it focuses too much on the drum effects. The liner noted are excellently produced, with page after page of photos, which will keep you amused for a long time! This album is well worth the money, so If you want a taste of some formidable music, then buy this box set, and be Enchanted by the one and only solo Stevie Nicks ...Free Music Review: Outside..
