Any album,Cd,tape by Stevie Ray Vaughan is 10,000 times better than anything anyone else has ever put out. This is, by far, his and Double Troble's best album and the extended tracks are all excellent. I won't rehash what everyone else has already said but keep this in mind.
No one EVER did it better than Stevie Ray Vaughan. Not before...not during and for sure not since. Stevie Ray WAS electric blues done to perfection!!

IN STEP is Stevie Ray Vaughan's first clean and sober album- and his finest. The best cuts are "The House Is Rockin'", "Crossfire", "Tightrope", and "Wall Of Denial", but there are other good ones here, too. The latter three songs can be understood well by anyone with any kind of addiction (drugs, alcohol, tobacco, food, caffeine). If you get IN STEP, COULDN'T STAND THE WEATHER, and TEXAS FLOOD first, you can't go wrong.Free Music Review: best of stevie

i was a little worried about this album becasue what more could he do could he top his old work. when i first heard the album it blew me away the powerful blues riffs and the soulful vocals that have so much meaning this is by far his best work yet by this now dont sit there and think oh. this guys just part of the government try to get me to by this album so the can watch evey move... well we are so by the albumFree Music Review: In Step

I just bought In Step on amazon for a great price. The other day when it came in I poped it into my CD player. Stevie always was trying new things. I listen to this CD non-stop I also hear it all the time on radio stations. But if you want a great Stevie Ray Vaughan CD then you will chose wisley with this. Stevie Ray Vaughan is one of the greatest guitarists of all time. Other than being a great guitar player, he was a great songwriter and could put new life into old blues songs. This album, In Step, shows all of these aspects of Stevie. All the songs are truly incredible. My personal favorites are The House Is Rockin', Crossfire and Tightrope. If you only buy one album by SRV, this is the one to get.
