Free Music Review: Classic Stevie Ray Vaughan!
Hit: 5 Stars

Classic Stevie Ray Vaughan! Any Stvie Ray fan would enjoy this album! The last track with Albert King is pretty good, but I think it could of been better if Stevie were allowed more guitar licks on it, but anyway it is OK! The album is pretty smooth and slick. Nobody could play the guitar like Stevie Ray, and it really comes out in this album! He was one of a kind, that even Albert King, had a hard time keeping up with, so that really says a lot about this highly talented late performer! This album is to be enjoyed to be certain!!! A great buy and one you'll be most proud to add to your collection of classic Stevie Ray Vaughan great albums/CDs!

If you are a blues fan, you should make "Blues at Sunrise" a part of your collection, without question. If you're not a blues fan but are interested in getting into the genre, make this album one of your first purchases. I had never owned a blues album before and then one day I saw this one and thought "I heard this SRV guy is incredible, I think I'll check it out." Since that day, I've been wearing the CD out (if and when it starts skipping, I'm definitely buying a new copy). I went from someone who had a vague interest in the blues to an all-out diehard blues fanatic. Be forever transformed and buy "Blues At Sunrise." You won't be disappointed.

Free Music Review: Stevie Ray was, is, and always will be THE Man.

How many times have you listened to a song that makes the hair stand up on your arm and give you goosebumps? It seems like almost every Stevie Ray Vaughn song that I hear does this to me. You can tell just how much Stevie Ray pumped out to belt all of those riffs with such masterful precision. No other artist I have heard has ever put as much effort into playing for the people than Stevie Ray. Blues At Sunrise is no exception to this rule. Stevie Ray still pours out 110% energy into his playing on this album, and you can FEEL it. A must have for every Stevie Ray fan.

Free Music Review: Stevie Ray Vaughan-Blues From Beyond
Hit: 5 Stars

Stevie Ray Vaughan may have died in 1990 but his music still lives on with the release of Blues At Sunrise. This cd has some of Stevie's best works on it including an awesome duet with Albert King on track 10- Blues At Sunrise. with 3 previously unreleased songs on it, this cd will prove to be one of the best. advertised as the slow blues album, it definitely fits the bill. with ten tracks on it this is a cd worth buying. whether you're new to SRV's music or a huge fan (like me), this cd is sure to leave you wanting more. Excellent choice of songs for this cd.

Free Music Review: it's that good
Hit: 5 Stars

The live version of Texas Flood on this disc alone is worth its price. If you've never watched the "Live at the El Mocambo" DVD or video, it's hard to understand just how amazing this rendition is without seeing the theatrics that go along with it. It's a little less than ten minutes of the most amazing, real, improvisational blues work I've ever heard. Other than that, if you don't already know how amazing SRV is on every level, buy this or any other disc that has a live performance on it as an introduction, and you'll soon be [drawn] into his studio work as well.
