Free Music Notes for Blues at SunriseFree Music Review: Slow, smokey, heart throbbing Blues. Hit: 5 Stars
As always, Stevie Ray Vaughan gets you right where you live and breath. His unbelievable guitar licks will enter your head and wrap themselves around your heart. Every note just feels RIGHT. But there's more. On this album, his smokey voice, which is suited to the slower and darker songs, will eat away at all of your defences until you feel the music with your soul. There was so much more to this late musician than just another great guitar player. Somewhere along the line he became a great storyteller. His tale is the Blues. Thank God for this new chapter.
Free Music Review: Should be 10 Stars Hit: 5 Stars
This is absolutely the best compilation of slow-tempo guitar-godlike blues I have ever heard. Every time I open my cabinet to listen to a CD, I cannot keep my hands off this album. If you like the blues and love to be blown away by amazing guitar playing and great songs, buy this album. This album is an abolute GOLD MINE of amazing tunes. It is easily my favorite SRV album. Don't even think about not buying this if you are a blues fan. You will be missing the greatest soulful, **s-kicking music SRV ever played. Treat yourself...buy this album and enjoy!
Free Music Review: Just when you heard it all- SRV reigns again Hit: 5 Stars
Stevie Ray's albums sometimes seem disjointed- ecclectically mixed blues-influenced rock which could make you air-guitar like mad followed in the next track with down-home-Delta-Blues which could make your soul ache. This compilation is, as the title suggests, nothing but down-n-dirty blues. And few albums have sounded better. I was skeptical at first, having heard all Stevie's released recordings- do not hesitate on this one. If you want to hear the sounds of an unparalleled guitar-god languishing in a painful and powerful existence, buy this now.

Free Music Review: They don't make'em like this any more.... Hit: 5 Stars
Plenty of axemen come and go, but few get lucky enough to be remembered. Stevie was one of the few you could mention along with Hendrix, Clapton, or King. From the opening number to the end, you can hear his soul playing through. You may hear the music but you need to be listening. There is nothing better than sitting back with your favorite beverage after a long day and listening to a true master of the guitar. He left us way too early...I guess why they call it the blues after all.
