I ordered Blues At Sunrise and when I received it I looked at the jacket and said to myself this guy doesn't look like he can play my kind of music. But when I played the cd for the first time I fell totally in love with his music. Now I play Blues at Sunrise all the time. I plan to order everything of Stevie Ray Vaughn. He's awesome. Just goes to show you can't judge a cd by it's cover.Free Music Review: It won't get better than this one!

You can check the other reviews for detailed song-by-song critiques. What I can tell you is more direct. If you like slow electric blues in the SRV style, get this one immediately. Crank it up and strap on your air guitar for some of the choicest slow blues you will find anywhere. There are other pretenders out there, but nobody can beat the SRV on this collection. I have been a SRV fan since hearing him for the first time when I was fifteen years old. I'm sure most fans would agree that his LIVE recordings are that much more powerful b/c Stevie was always at his absolute best when even he didn't know what he was going to do next... buy this one if only for the 4 Live tracks. When you're feeling down, let Stevie's guitar do the crying for you. Before I bought this CD, I would listen to Amazon's sample tracks over and over again. I'm glad I bought it! I don't usually review music, but I absolutely have to praise the artist for this particular collection of music.
