i am a big stevie ray vaughan fan i like him alot. this cd is great i listend to it at least 30 times and not tired of it. and stevie this one is for you. i picked this song out for a friend when she wanted a song for us (me and her) so i picked pride and joy. and she loved it so she listens to him now i listen to it, family loves it. heck he is the BOMB.Free Music Review: great combination of material

Stevie Ray Vaughn was a really talendted musician who wne tbefore his time. This greatest hits collection captures some of his great original songs like cold shoot and texas flood while captureing some great covers like the beatles taxman and jimi hendrix's little wing. I've listened to this album several time and it still sounds great.Free Music Review: the blues bible, bar none!

Tragically SRV left us way too early so we can never know the heights he would have achieved in blues guitar playing. This album has probably his best work with the exception of Voodoo Chile, Tin Pan Alley and Riviera Paradise. If you are not moved by listening to "Little Wing" or "Life Without You", then you simply must be dead!!Free Music Review: Greatest Hits of SRV

This CD is a great intro to Stevie Ray Vaughan's music. It includes some of his all-time best, including my personal favorite, "Cold Shot." For the SRV enthusiast there may be more comprehensive collections than this one, but for someone just being introduced to SRV, this is a great one to start with.Free Music Review: I love it and I'm a not even a blues fan!

The only negative thing about this CD is the first song Taxman. I'm listening to the song right now and it makes no since why it's on this disc, but still ten out of eleven of the songs are very good. This defines what a greatest hits CD is all about. A must have for blues fans and all other music lovers.
