Free Music Notes for Stevie Ray Vaughan and Double Trouble: Greatest HitsFree Music Review: I am the greatest Hit: 5 Stars
The name of this album should be "I Am the Greatest!" because that is what this album is for Stevie Ray. Any blues/rock lover will absolutely wear this CD out because it is the vary essence of SRV music. The only CD left to buy is his Live at Austin City Limits, his best performance ever in my opinion!
Free Music Review: Excellent Bluesman Hit: 5 Stars
Stevie is what made me want to sing and play the blues. His Texas drawl and flavor lend his playing an extra bit of lonesomeness that make him a true blues man. This collection showcases some of Stevie's best album tracks, but if you really want to hear the blues then try some of his live stuff.
Free Music Review: buying this album proved me wrong. Hit: 5 Stars
I'm not a hardcore blues fan, and I initially (stupidly) thought that SRV got famous just because he died. This album proved how shallow and inaccurate that thought is. SRV is an AMAZING guitar player.Knowing how much he had to go through in life just makes him more legendary...
Free Music Review: The ultimate Stevie Ray Vaughn collection Hit: 5 Stars
This album shows just how good of a blues singer and guitar player SRV was. His rendetion of Jimi Hendrix's little wing is better than the orignal version in my opinion. This album is a must have for anyone who enjoy's a good guitar riff along with meaningful lyrics.
Free Music Review: Last of the blues virtuosos. Hit: 5 Stars
None of SRV's imitators have both the chops and the soul, and those who've taken another turn have gone the wrong way. If you want to hear the last valid step in the evolution of high-energy electric blues guitar, get everything SRV ever did.
