Free Music Review: Classic Stevie
Hit: 5 Stars

It doesn't get much better than this. If you're a Stevie fan, you absolutely must have this one in your collection. This cd represents what music should be!

Free Music Review: Stevie Wonder couldn't lose in the 70's
Hit: 5 Stars

Stevie Wonder, as a composer, singer, and musician was simply at a creative peak during the 70's. I would recommend anything he put out during that decade.
'Songs in the key of life' is one Stevie's most accessible, and at the same time innovative albums. Like the albums that came before it (innervisions, talking book, etc) SITKOL strikingly combines an optomistic driving groove with some of the sharpest social and political criticism you will find in popular music.
Some of the better known tunes are "sir duke", 'I wish', 'isnt she lovely', and 'as' - but the other tracks are all good!

Free Music Review: Very very close to perfect
Hit: 5 Stars

Whatever your mood, whatever your situation, Stevie Wonder has a song for you in this album. These are 'songs', not little ditties to fill an album. Stevie had a lot to say, and we are the beneficiaries of his talent. There is a little bit of everything on this album, from ballads to political statements to good old-fashioned funk. And what more could you want from an album? This album was recorded when the vinyl told a story, from beginning to end, and took the listener from Point A to Point B. Take this recording, find a lazy sunny Saturday afternoon, and find a soft spot on the floor. Open your mind, turn the volume to a soft low rumble, and try to sit still. You won't succeed on that last point, because the uplift from 'Sir Duke', 'I Wish', and 'Knocks Me Off My Feet' will energize you to clean the cabinet, dust the woodwork, call an old friend, and spend an hour smiling in a great mood. This album is old-school, full of excellent musicianship, and a must-have for the audio collector.

Free Music Review: This album was released in 1976
Hit: 4 Stars

"Songs in the Key of Life" is one of my favorite albums of all time. Stevie Wonder fills each of these songs with powerful emotion, most notably "Isn't She Lovely." That song as well as "Sir Duke," "As," and "I Wish" are the high points of the album. Stevie proves he is one of the masters of the slow jam with "Love's in Need of Love Today," "Knocks Me Off My Feet," and "Joy Inside My Tears." This album is a must for fans of funk, soul, and 70s pop rock.

And I know "I Love MTV" has already been proven wrong, but I think the fact that this album came out before Justin Timberlake was even born cannot be overstated. You either need to do some research or stop listening to music altogether, because your reviews may deter people from listening to all the great artists who never made a music video and aren't obsessed with image and money. Also, just because an artist has never won a Grammy doesn't mean they're not good. Led Zeppelin is better than you are.

Free Music Review: Wonder shines
Hit: 5 Stars

Stevie Wonder's masterpiece "Songs In The Key of Life" may have been his best work but boy, he has had some great albums. A blend of soul, rock, pop, jazz and funk; Stevie drew an audience from all genres of music. A must own album for any collector of music.
