If you are a Stevie Wonder fan you will love this collection. It includes all of his greatest hits and then some. It is sure to please.

Free Music Review: Great Songs - Poor Mix
Hit: 2 Stars

Have the people who re-mixed the songs on this album ever heard the original recordings? Fingertips,(I'm not even sure where this recording even came from) dosen't sound like the same 12 year old that I remember on the 45. Superstition? the percusion at the begining, WHERE IS IT??? Living For the City, (the begining to this song used to bring shivers, but this is disapointing, no soul here!!) This mix sucks!!! I bought this because I was thinking I would like to have a fresh version of all these wonderful songs (no pun intended), but what I got was inspiration to listen to my old albums and 45's where I can at least get the original "FEEL" for these great songs.

Free Music Review: Motown's Main Man
Hit: 5 Stars

Steveland Morris Hardaway started life at Motown in Detroit as "Little" Stevie Wonder with the tunes "Fingertips Pt l & ll. His early mellow hits included "For Once in my Life" ,My Cherie Amour" and "You are the Sunshine of my Life". "Signed,Sealed Delivered Im Yours" was later covered by Peter Frampton. You couldn't go to a roller rink in the 70's without skating to "Superstition, (later covered by the late great Stevie Ray Vaughn) "Living For the City or Higher Ground". Even the synthesizer heavy "I Just Called to Say I Love You" is included as well as a few tunes that may not be as well known but still enjoyable. Stevie Wonder's career has spanned the decades and his musical styles reflect that.Well done Mr. Wonder.

Free Music Review: Introducing...Stevie Wonder
Hit: 5 Stars

THE DEFINITIVE COLLECTION is a nice "Reader's Digest Condensed Books" summary of the Wonder man's career highlights. The sound quality is great along with the artwork and liner notes. Consider this collection as a great introduction, then buy those classic 70's albums, "Hotter Than July" and his new album, "A Time 2 Love".

Free Music Review: I Love Stevie Wonder
Hit: 4 Stars

Stevie Wonder got me through high school, which I hated with a passion. I'd be feeling down and I'd play his music and it just reallly touched my heart. Each song brings back memories and some of them gave me inspiration. This is a great CD if you want to chart his growth. I was always amazed by how he seemed to be able to "see" things that were going on in society, and how he could also write terrific love songs. This is a good CD to sing along to, I recommend it and also "Original Musiquarium".
