I first heard Stompbox in a snowboard movie (TB4 Run to the Hills) in '95. Carry on my Wayward son caught my attention. Years later I ordered the CD and found that I pretty much like every song. As far as I could tell,this was Stompbox's sole effort.That's sort of a shame because this short-lived 'hardcore/metal' band is actually halfway decent.Their music is aggressive,gutsy and mean.A couple of the disc's tracks that I thought kicked some serious bootie there were "Making The Pump",the in-your-mug "Chevy S-10","Jake Song" and "Screwing In America".Just might draw in some of the Orange 9mm,Downset or Helmet crowd.
