Daniel band, hailing from Canada, have been rocking it hard since the early 80's, before the big boom of rock/metal hit the states. The true fathers of hard rock/metal belongs to them, Jerusalem, Barnabas and the like. I discovered them during the "Run from the Darkness" era, and quickly grabbed up copies of their previous two releases "On Rock" (also previously reissued) and "Straight Ahead" which is found in this set too. The first thre releases are engrained in my brain because they are such classic releases. The album after this (Rise Up) found them hitting things much heavier, and was a superb release. This band is still a favorite of mine to this day. A must have release of classic Christian hard rock.
This double disc was a limited reissue, and appeares to be out of print and hard to find now (so glad I bought mine back on day one). These two releases were also later released separately and may be easier to find. Whatever it takes, find them.
I played in a Christian metal band in late 80's, and we covered many Daniel Band tunes, along with Barnabas, Philadelphia and the like.
