Free Music Notes for Gangster & A GentlemanFree Music Review: Styles P- Gangster & A Gentleman Hit: 3 StarsStyles P has always been my favorite Rapper. Even more so now that hes not with the Lox, because we get to see more of him. With that said, this album was a dissapointment to me. While the massive hit "Good Times" was a smokers classic, and still is a smokers classic, there wasnt much else to offer on this album. I will never take away from Styles that he is the most talented rapper out there, because he is a smart poet who writes intellegent gangsta rap, and some alternative rap as well. And thats hard to come by in rap these days. But on this album, there are only a small handful of good tracks. One being the title track, "Gangster & Gentlemen", which is a more laid back track, that tells the story of Styles life growing up. Another great track is "Black Magic" which is another very laid back track. But the best song on the album has to be "We Thugs", it has a very strait forward meaning, its the Lox saying i will die for my homies. But other than those few songs there is nothing else on this album worth giving a second listen to. Styles is still my favorite rapper, but i know he can do better than this. He stuck to the prototype album to much this time around and didnt switch up the style enough. And the other thing about this album is that it seems really messy and crowded. With a very large tracklisting, 24 tracks in all, it gives the album a very crowded and messy appearance, which really intimidates the listener some times, because they know that they have 24 songs to listen to, instead of modest 15. Next one will be better.

Free Music Review: Gangster and a Gentleman Hit: 5 StarsStyles P developed into a good MC with the LOX, but his solo debut really makes him stand out. With his unique voice, it easy to tell when he is rapping. He has a unique flow with good rhymes that seem like they shouldn't rhyme. The beats on this album are as good as it gets, and the CD is skip-free, except for the skits. Every song is good, but Soul Clap is my personal favorite.
Free Music Review: I gotta give it 5 stars Hit: 5 StarsStyles P holds it down for the streets period. His raps are very versatile from deep concentration type raps to battle punches. No other MC from his camp has been able to surpass him when it comes to his albums. As matter of fact NO MC today is going to be able to surpass him. Thats real talk...
Free Music Review: Styles P - A Gangster and A Gentlemen Hit: 5 StarsHailing from Corona, Queens, New York City, New York, USA, Styles P from The L.O.X. and former Bad Boy member has finally released a solo album called A Gangster and A Gentlemen. Styles Ps album talks about gangster, ghettos, sex and drugs, small groups of advocators that deprive life. Even though grown ups don't like stuff that Styles P is saying in his music, it's a warning for anyone who dares to step in the hood that doesn't understand the way of the ghetto.
