I highly recommend this CD of Styx and the Contemporary Youth Orchestra of Cleveland... having the greatest rock and rollers and the Orchestra together was history in the making, I must say. I enjoyed the CD and also the DVD that was made of them playing together in Cleveland.
God bless Styx and the members of the Contemporary Youth Orchestra. My hat's off to you.

Considering the volatile personalities and egos in Styx, their interaction with the kids is to be applauded. But the real STARS are the kids and their director, and this CD should be approached with that mindset. STYX was a great band when DeYoung was there, this CD is a good reflection of those days, even with the music they have added since he went off to Whacko-land with his screwed up ego.Free Music Review: AWESOME!

As Tommy Shaw describes the Cleveland Youth Orchestra he uses the word awesome. The STYX group and music comes to life when you see the excitement and exuberance in the faces of the kids as they perform the songs. As one other reviewer wrote this concert DVD is best when enjoyed in surrond sound. Never have I heard STYX sound so amazing.... and I have been a fan forever. The blend of generations, the shared energy among these amazing musicians of STYX and the Contemporary Youth Orchestra and Chorus will blow your mind. I can not wait for the DVD so I can watch the magic!!
