I have said it many times, (and I just may have to take it back) I am not particularly a fan of Country Music. This is an album that is about as country as it gets, drawls and all.
But as I have also said a million times, I do love good music, and I do love the female vocal, and the truth is Jennifer Nettles of Sugarland is about as good of an emotive singer as is out there anywhere. When she sings about the pain of being the other woman in "Stay" you will absolutly believe her. The CD also has very good "Pop Sensibilities" as demonstrated in "Want To"
So bottom line is if you like a song that tells a story and a vocalist that can make you feel the words she is singing down to your core, then you really will "Enjoy The Ride".

I have just fallen in love with this cd! From the upbeat rockin songs to the slower paced heart-wrenchers this cd has a little bit of something for everyone. Jennifer Nettles has one of the most from the heart voices ever. When you get this cd remember this ain't ya mama's country music!! Hang on and enjoy the ride. It's well worth it.
