Free Music Notes for Twice the Speed of LifeFree Music Review: Sugarland CD Hit: 4 StarsThis is a good CD. I like most of the songs on the album and am glad that I purchased it.
Free Music Review: Sugarland is on their way Hit: 4 StarsSugarland and Jennifer Nettles has a unique sound that other must like; based on their hits. This is a great CD, and their latest:"Enjoy the ride" is even better. Their days of being the "warm up" band to the lead is going to change to headliner quickly.
Free Music Review: Amazing album Hit: 5 StarsIt's is rare for an album to have so many good songs to choose from that can be made singles and this album is one of them. Besides the singles released Tennessee, Fly Away and Twice The Speed of Life could have easily been released as singles.
Free Music Review: There's gotta be more where that came from! Hit: 5 StarsThere is absolutely nothing bad that I can say about this album except that i think there are too few songs in it. 11 songs just breeze by, especially when all of them are as good as the ones in this. This was my first ever purchase on Amazon (where have I been??? Hahaha!) and I can't tell you how happy I was when I first heard it. I've had this album for almost a year now and I still smile when I hear Something More (what a great track!) and Speed of Life (What a great track, 2!!!) among others. I'm waiting for the second album to arrive in my mail (US to the Philippines does take some time, but I can wait though barely) and I'm sure the that is as good as this (based on the reviews). I love Sugarland! Here's to hoping they don't disappoint on future albums...they are the band (duo now) of the future!!!
Free Music Review: Better Late Than Never Hit: 5 StarsTo my regret, I only recently discovered Sugarland and the incredible talent of Jennifer Nettles. Never (ever!) a fan of country music, I happened on Sugarland's CMT Crossroads concert with Bon Jovi while channel surfing. Instantly, Jennifer's amazing voice and playful personality jumped off the screen and filled the room. When I discovered that Sugarland was appearing in town that same week (opening for Brooks and Dunn), I was hooked. (I have to admit that I had never heard of Brooks and Dunn, although I've lived most of my life here on planet Earth. Really.) I bought the CD the next morning and haven't stoppped listening to it. Jennifer Nettles is a unique talent, bursting with spirit and enthusiasm, and gifted with a huge voice. The CD isn't nearly big enough to fully capture her ability to engage an audience, but it's still infectious, inspiring and flat-out fun.
