Read the other glowing reviews for more details, but I echo most of their sentiments.
Awesomely heavy Sabbathian? riffage, the most magnificently mournful lyrics/vocals this side of the abyss, and with a little swing behind it all. Sure the enunciation can be a little skewed (as heard in "Sold my Fortune") but it's a time-honored tradition keeping with the overt Sabbathness of it all.
This is dark, heavy, bleak rock at it's best.
Except "Shine Boy" of course. The lead singer took that one off, one of the other guys croaks that one out.
One of my Official Best Bands You've Never Heard, and an essential album (especially at the dirt cheap prices it's at now).
