Free Music Review: powerful and moving...

The reviews written heretofore are fairly good synopses and analyses of this incredible album so I won't really elaborate further upon them. I just wanted to add a positive note for this album because I find it very moving on a personal level. I actually had never heard of Kozelek, SKM or RHP before I found this album while doing some google surfing on Salvador Sanchez and Duk Koo Kim. Sanchez is probably my favorite boxer of all time and, as I am a Korean guy, Duk Koo Kim is obviously a hero and legend to me: Both of these legends' personal life stories are stuff of inspiration, honor and Kleenex as they both are members of the Only the Good Die Young.
The album is absolutely a pleasure to listen to if only for the sounds and lyrics themselves: Gentle Moon, Pancho Villa and DKK are really wonders to me. Si, Paloma is also a simple pleasure itself (I am a Earl Klugh fan so was thrilled to find this gem in the album). Kozelek's voice is clear yet full of melancholy - I mostly prefer music that I can relax or chill out to so his voice really works for me. Finally, DKK is famous for its 14 minutes which is an homage to the Fighter's 14 epic rounds vs Mancini...as a fan of the fighter I would like to say Thank You to Mr. Kozelek for this song.
