Awesome! I've been collecting old school funk for some years now. I didn't listen to this kinds of music when it was out but rather went back and researched to built up quite a collection. I pretty much thought I had all the major funk bands from that era. However, one day Sun popped up one day as a recommendation from Amazon. I read the reviews and found there were part of the Ohio Scene along with Ohio Players and Slave. After hearing the sound samples, I decided I should order the CD. I'm glad I did! It's a shame they didn't get near the fame of Ohio Players or Slave. The music is as funky, the playing is as good. I suppose they just didn't have enough big singles.
If you like the bands from that scene, get this album!
