I've seen her live in Austin a couple times now and it's always a great show. If you like her voice, check out Kasey Chambers. Sunny will actually do Kasey covers if you ask her. The first time I heard Sunny, I was at a bar meeting old friends, but ended up staying longer b/c I heard her singing. If you like Americana and some twang in your music you will not be disappointed in this album. I have not been able to stop listening to it for weeks now. Not one let down on the album. Although there are some covers they have all been nicely tattooed with her own unique style. One of the best first albums I have heard in years.

Sunny does a perfect job of making honky tonk music with catchy tunes a twang in her voice and powerful rhythm. I find her similar to Jill King and Julie Reeves also great sounding country artists. I highly recommend this album to the serious country music lover.

I'm hooked! Sunny loves what she does and it shows. She's a natural. How on earth does she do "If I Could?" She could be an auctioneer in her day job but I'm pretty sure she won't have time for a day job. I look forward to following her performing career.Free Music Review: A GREAT CD

I absolutely love this CD. I can't wait for more from Sonny Sweeney. This CD and the songs on it which seem to have been forgotten by the country music industry are FAR better than a lot of those on the market from other artists which people rave about.
