Don't believe the review that says that Retrospectacle should hide in their shell. If you do, you will miss out on THE best Supertramp collection. This is a two disc set with all of the greatest AND memorable songs from this rock supergroup. I have the song Hide In Your Shell and I don't consider its exclusion as a bad thing. The songs that ARE included are simply worthy of being included. I think it was worth excluding one long song for two excellent shorter songs. Granted Hide In Your Shell is a great song it is by no means Supertramp's greatest song. Just listen to Land Ho which is not in other greatest hits compilation and you'll know what I mean.Free Music Review: Superb Group

Finally we have a review of Supertramp from their earliest recordings to their latest. I've been a Supertramp fan since 'Even In The Quietest Moments'. A lot of their early and later stuff I haven't heard until now. Not a bad track on this 32 tune set and what a great price for a double CD. As for the remastering, I rebought 'Even In The Quietest Moments' remastered but except for a little cleaner mid and high range and a little less boomy bass I couldn't justify rebuying their whole collection. A@M records were always on the cutting edge technology so the origionals are great as far as I'm concerned.Free Music Review: Be prepared to be wowed!

Supertramp, you know them, you love them! Their list of their hit songs goes on and on - "Bloody Well Right", "Dreamer", "Give a Little Bit", "The Logical Song", "Goodbye Stranger", and so forth and so on. Well, be prepared to be wowed!
This two-CD set contains 32 Supertramp songs! It includes the hits I mentioned above, but also some of their slightly lesser-known, but just as great, tunes. It's a lot of Supertramp, and is sure to please any fan. I really enjoyed it, and think that you will too!
Free Music Review: Will satisfy 90 percent of you out there........

"Retrospectacle" is the best sampling of Supertramp for your money that you could hope for. It will completely satisfy 90 percent of you out there that have interest in the beautiful melodic harmonies this band produced from the early 70's to the early 80's.
Anyone who is upset because one of their favorite songs is missing off this two disc collection is welcome to spend a couple of hundred dollars on the complete, entire everything Supertramp ever recorded. Then everyone will be happy.

I cannot understand why this band is so underrated (?) in USA. In Europe Supertramp still is very famous and popular. This CD is a good overview for someone who wants to get Supertramp to know. For hardcore-fans there might misses somes pieces ("Hide In Your Shell") but nevertheless this anthology gives an excellent view for the unique talent of the band. Listen to "The Logical Song"; "Goodbye Stranger"; "Rudy" or "School" and you know what I mean.
