Free Music Review: A Diverse Collection By A Diverse Band

I always liked Supertramp, and this project is a case in point. It included songs I always liked by Supertramp ("The Logical Song", "Take The Long Way Home", and "Give A Little Bit"), but it also includes "Goodbye Stranger", a song I heard on the radio before but never realized was Supertramp.
Additionally, I liked other songs on the project I never heard before ("Rudy", "Dreamer", "Ain't Nobody But Me" and "Cannonball").
If you want a testimonial of how this band appeals to different types of people, look at what the people who bought this also bought. Yes, it's a group of several late '70's artists, but I usually consider "The Cars" appeals to a different clientel than Foreigner and Kansas, yet Supertramp fans like all those other artists.

I have been an avid Supertramp fan since I was very young and currently own every Supertramp album. I recently bought this 'Very Best Of' compilation and did not regret it. I like basically every song on here (Take the Long Way Home is my personal favorite) and they even threw in 'School'. Hooray!
I like the fact that all the old bands are making a comeback (The Logical Song is pretty much overplayed where I live) and that hopefully this phase of rap/hip-hop and greenday wannabes will end.

ONE of my favorite musical groups during the mid 70's throughthe early 80's and (pickering finally tore this talented band
apart). With the likes of Steely Dan, Joni Mithell, Bonnie Raitt,
Boz Scaggs, the Eagles and so many more. These Supertramp tracks
featured on this collection will endure for years to come and
the quality and care set them apart from all the rest. Good to
see them remaster the previous best of collection, the 70's had
many many excellent musicans, many still out there going strong.

Greatest Hits Vol. 2 also is available but runs dry of all familiar material presented here. If you would like to feel confident with your Supertramp collection or are a younger listener wondering how to condense group highpoints, this without question is the disc to get.
